Camp Culinary is finally letting adults in on the fun! We started our business to teach kids and teens how to cook, but found their parents skulking around the kitchen during lessons. So, we’ve adapted our popular in-home cooking classes for adults, offering an expanded menu for more sophisticated palates. We stage the classes as a dinner party: you invite your friends and buy the drinks; we show up with food and lesson plans. You and your guests will fill up on world-class food prepared in your kitchen under the guidance of a professional chef. Plus, the skills you learn will last a lifetime.

Why do you cook?
To feed the family, for fun or out of necessity, we all have our reasons. Some of our reasons are similar and some are totally different but we all do it, we all cook. I hear some people say “I don’t cook” To which I respond “We all cook, just for different reasons, and at different levels.”
You don’t have to be a trained chef to prepare great food, all you need is a desire and persistence. A desire to improve your skills in the kitchen, and the persistence to try again, when things don’t come out of the oven quit right.
A good cooking coach or culinary instructor is a great way to get to where you want to be quicker, with less back to the drawing board moments. This is where Camp Culinary really shines, because we teach method and technique. Most people can follow a recipe, step one, step two, and so on. But what did you do in step one, and why did you do it. That’s what we teach, don’t be a recipe robot.

Dinner Party
The cost for 6 party goers is $175 for the instructional fee.
Add $15 per person above six, with a maximum of twelve.
Food cost
The cost of the food will vary depending on the menu that you choose.
Food cost will also vary depending on seasonality.

Sometimes we will come in with a food cost that is lower than our ball park price, but we never go over on the high end.
